Abstract:

Modern manufacturing enterprises are required to collaborate by their business partners through their business process operations such as design, manufacture, distribution, and aftersales services. And furthermore performance evaluation is of great importance for effective supply chain man agement. Therefore, DEA can help companies to remove some of the in efficiencies in operational processes in order to become more effective. The current paper develops one approach for determining the DEA projections for inefficient supply chains. Meanwhile this approach aims at providing an easy, efficient and more practical approach based on the performance evaluation for the multi-member supply chain. And ultimately, this model is illustrated by an numerical example of Chinese commercial bank, and case study application to provide of machine-making supply chain.

Investigating Impact of Intelligent Agents in Improving Supply Chain Performance

Improvement in supply chain performance is one of the major issues in the current world. Lack of coordination in the supply chain is the main drawback of supply chain that many researchers have proposed different methodologies to overcome it. VMI (Vendor-managed inventory) is one of these methodologies that implementing it has some obstacles. This paper proposes new model that is agent-managed ...

Measuring Supply Chain Performance

In the last years performance evaluation issues have attracted the attention of many researchers and companies worldwide. However, most studies are still conducted focusing only on the manufacturing processes performance and associated with financial indicators. Currently an important question is the necessity of expanding the concepts of performance evaluation to the supply chains, in order to...

Improving Lifetime of Strategic Information Network in Oil Supply Chain

Today, information networks play an important role in supply chain management. Therefore, in this article, clustering-based routing protocols, which are one of the most important ways to reduce energy consumption in wireless sensor networks, are used to optimize the supply chain informational cloud network. Accordingly, first, a clustering protocol is presented using self-organizing map neu...
